Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, has been sentenced to four years in prison following his conviction for involuntary manslaughter of the pop legend  Michael Jackson earlier this month.

Judge Michael Pastor said Dr Murray, “repeatedly lied… violated the trust of the medical community… and of his patient, and he has absolutely no sense of remorse.”

The pop star died on 25 June 2009 from an overdose of the powerful anaesthetic propofol.
